Raid Response, Better Automod, and a New Commands Page

🚀 Big update for moderation, safety, and setup

This update brings one of the biggest moderation improvements to nyx so far: Raid Response is now built directly into Automod.

That means you can now react faster when something feels off, lock things down with less friction, and manage incidents from the dashboard without piecing together separate systems.

🛡️ Raid Response is now inside Automod

Automod can now do more than just react to individual messages or joins. It can also trigger a broader raid mode for your server.

You can now configure raid mode with:

• a dedicated alert channel
• selected slowmode channels
• a custom slowmode duration
• an optional auto-expire timer

We also added manual raid mode controls in the dashboard, so staff can turn raid mode on or off instantly when needed.

And if you want it automated, there’s now a new Automod preset that can activate raid mode when a join burst is detected.

✨ Better Automod experience

Alongside raid response, the Automod dashboard got a solid usability pass.

We cleaned up the layout, improved state handling, and made rules, presets, and raid protection settings easier to understand at a glance. The goal here was simple: less friction, faster setup, and a panel that feels much better to use when you actually need it.

📚 New Commands page

nyx now has a new public Commands page, making it much easier to browse what the bot can do.

If you’ve ever wanted a cleaner reference for commands, features, and how everything fits together, this should make discovery a lot nicer.

🌐 Website and dashboard polish

This update also includes a bunch of improvements across the site and dashboard:

• improved homepage and install-page content
• a new FAQ section on nyx.cool
• better update/article metadata
• clearer Automod + Raid Protection messaging on the homepage
• improved mobile dashboard navigation
• a refreshed footer with a feedback link

🔎 Better setup diagnostics

We also expanded dashboard diagnostics to surface more configuration issues for plugins like Tickets, Welcome, Logging, Starboard, and related systems.

That should make it easier to spot missing setup and get servers configured correctly faster.
